By accessing or using DupeDJ software and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

DupeDJ is audio deduplication software that helps users identify and manage duplicate audio files in their music libraries. The software runs locally on your computer and requires a valid license for full functionality.

3. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DupeDJ on up to two (2) devices simultaneously, subject to the following conditions:

• The software may only be used for personal or internal business purposes
• You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the software
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
• You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices

4. License Types

Monthly Subscription

Monthly subscriptions are billed every month and provide access to DupeDJ for the duration of your subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled.

Yearly Subscription

Yearly subscriptions are billed annually at a discounted rate. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled.

Lifetime License

Lifetime licenses are a one-time purchase that grants perpetual access to DupeDJ, including all future updates. This license does not expire and does not require renewal.

5. Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled. You may cancel your trial at any time before it ends to avoid charges.

6. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to DupeDJ, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all purchases. If you are not satisfied with DupeDJ for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting support. Upon cancellation:

• You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made
• Your license will be deactivated at the end of the billing period

9. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

10. Intellectual Property

DupeDJ, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

DupeDJ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. You use the software at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DupeDJ and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the software.

13. Data and Files

You are solely responsible for your audio files and data. DupeDJ provides tools to identify and move potential duplicate files, but:

• You should always maintain backups of important files
• You are responsible for reviewing files before permanent deletion
• We are not liable for any accidental data loss

14. Updates and Changes

We may update the software and these terms from time to time. Continued use of DupeDJ after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the application.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to DupeDJ if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service.

16. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
