Cookie Policy
Version 1.0
Operated by Sindro LLC. Last updated: see git history of this document.
1. What this page covers
This page explains how dupedj.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Policy and is provided to satisfy the requirements of California, EU, and UK cookie/tracking laws.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. Cookies are used for many things; the most common is to remember you between page loads (e.g., to keep you logged in).
3. The cookies we use
Sindro LLC uses only strictly necessary cookies on dupedj.com.
- Authentication cookies: maintain your signed-in session. Without these you cannot stay logged in.
- Security cookies: protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and similar attacks.
- Preference cookies: remember settings such as your selected theme or billing cycle on the pricing page.
4. What we do NOT use
- Third-party advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking pixels, beacons, or fingerprinting scripts
- Behavioral profiling cookies
- Third-party analytics that share data with their networks
Because we only set strictly-necessary cookies, no consent banner is shown on dupedj.com under the ePrivacy Directive's strictly-necessary exception. If we ever add non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics), we'll add a consent banner first.
5. Third-party services that may set cookies
When you interact with embedded flows we redirect to, the third party may set their own cookies under their own policy:
- Stripe Checkout — when you click “Subscribe” or “Buy.” See stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.
- Google / Discord — if you choose social sign-in. See their respective cookie policies.
6. Managing cookies
All modern browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary cookies above will prevent you from signing in or completing checkout. Since we don't set non-essential cookies, there is no in-app cookie consent banner to manage.
